Drill Hall

The first films shown here were silent and the operation was run part-time by W J Brooks up to about 1930 when silent product ceased. A few years later, aided by Mr Brooks, Mr M I T Radford of Cullompton showed 35mm sound films here for a season in 1934.   The part-time mobile operation visited Bampton on Monday nights.
